Checkpoint — Berlin Grit, Softened Ends
Checkpoint is a display typeface family inspired by the lettering on the historic border hut at Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin. It draws on that specific piece of signage history and translates it into a confident contemporary system for graphic design.
A condensed sans, Checkpoint conveys strength while keeping a touch of softness through rounded terminals. Its modular construction creates a strong vertical presence, which suits titles, headlines, and branding projects. The family includes 14 styles and an extended character set that supports most Latin and Cyrillic-based alphabets—covering over 240 languages. Checkpoint also includes a range of OpenType features, giving you options for numeral styles and layout choices to match the setting.
Checkpoint is available as a family of stand-alone weights or as a single variable font.
